“Training Reduces My Emotion”

A common myth floating around is that training reduces the singer’s emotional output.

Actually, vocal training increases the ability of a person to express emotions felt within the heart.

The strengthening and flexibility of the vocal muscles gives one a wider tonal color palate for all sorts of sounds.  These sounds represent the differing emotions.

One also develops a fine sense of vocal feel or sensation.  The muscles respond to the mind with enhanced ability to access emotional tone colors.  The muscles are ready and willing after training.

As muscle and mind are built up, then limitations fall away. Increased movement and mental control release one to emote!
